How it works
- Send one request. Group type, dates, number of pupils and teachers, meals and budget. No account, no pupil names.
- Up to five houses reply within 48 hours with room plan, free places for teachers, total price and cancellation terms.
- Compare and choose. All offers side by side, also as a PDF.
- Book directly with the house. The house sends its own accommodation contract. You pay the house — we add nothing.

City tax for school groups
Berlin charges an accommodation tax of 7.5 per cent of the room price. Pupils on school trips can be exempt with a confirmation from their school; accompanying teachers pay it. Whether the exemption applies to your school should be confirmed with the house when booking. All prices in the offers include city tax.

What to do in Berlin with a class
- Bundestag: talks on the visitors' gallery of the plenary chamber, often followed by the dome. Book early in writing.
- Berlin Wall Memorial, Bernauer Straße: outdoor exhibition open daily 8 am to 10 pm, free.
- Museum Island: free admission to the Staatliche Museen for visitors under 18.
- East Side Gallery, Tränenpalast, Topography of Terror: all free of charge.

Arriving by coach
Berlin's city centre is a low-emission zone: coaches need the green sticker, including coaches registered outside Germany. Most coach parking in Berlin is free; large car parks are at the central bus station (ZOB), Hauptbahnhof and Brandenburg Gate.

How much does it cost to use MadeForGroups?

How early should we book?
Popular weeks in spring, early summer, September and October are often booked six to twelve months ahead for larger groups. A request is free, so asking early does no harm.
